Good Sealing and Sound Insulation
The panel uses a tongue-and-groove connection combined with a specialized sealing system, achieving an air leakage rate < 0.05‰. The composite structure provides a weighted sound insulation index of Rw = 30 dB, five times higher than ordinary partitions, effectively ensuring a suitable acoustic environment in cleanrooms.
Lightweight and Thermal Insulation
Leveraging the lightweight advantage of the EPS core (density: 18–25 kg/m³), the overall weight of the panel is only one-third that of traditional materials. It also maintains excellent thermal insulation (thermal conductivity: 0.032–0.038 W/m·K), effectively reducing cleanroom energy consumption and building structural load.
Optimized Breathability
By precisely controlling the micro-porous structure (pore size: 5–50 μm) of the silica coating, the panel achieves moderate breathability while maintaining moisture resistance. This design ensures an appropriate water vapor transmission rate, preventing internal condensation and helping to balance indoor-outdoor pressure differences, thereby enhancing the stability of cleanroom airflow.
Excellent Moisture Resistance
The silica cleanroom panel features a silica-based coating composite on an EPS core using a special process, forming a dense protective layer. This coating stabilizes the panel’s water absorption rate below 1.5%, effectively blocking moisture penetration. Even in environments with 95% humidity, the panel maintains dimensional stability, avoiding the moisture absorption and deformation issues common to traditional EPS materials.
Improved Fire Performance
The addition of the silica coating enables the panel to achieve a Class B1 fire rating, with an oxygen index ≥ 32% and smoke density rating ≤ 65. This significantly enhances fire safety compared to ordinary EPS panels while maintaining environmental friendliness (formaldehyde emission ≤ 0.05 mg/m³).
Enhanced Corrosion Resistance
The silica coating provides excellent chemical resistance, withstanding common disinfectants within a pH range of 3–11. Tests show that after 1,000 wipe cycles with solvents such as hydrogen peroxide and alcohol, the surface remains intact, with coating wear ≤ 0.02 mm, significantly extending service life.
